Being a guy with naturally curly hair (ok its an afro now) I can't understand why people would willingly pay for curly hair.

I don't quite have an afro.. but my hair curlls naturally when it's left to grow... Apparently, it does help improve my looks according to Al (but I reckon it's because it hides my face!)

i have a perm and i'm 25. actually speakin of perms i have to get mine done again.

when i was about 12 i had a perm and i looked like a damn poodle, then by the age of 14/15 i decided to have it straightened, then just about a year ago i got a spiral perm. i would show you a pic but every pic i have don't how off the curls. I'll have to take a better one!

i have extreemly curly hair and i'm the same as sirk, at a complete loss to as why anyone would pay for a perm. i'm always being told by little old ladies that i have a lovely perm which makes me either want to cry or commit an act of violence. maybe people have realised how lucky they are and thats why they dont get perms any more

I think that's because they are jealous... though I can't see why.

i think the only reason i got the perm was for a dramatic change like i always do. first it was dark brown, then it was blonde, then it was curly then it was straight. Now its Auburn and curly! i have to constantly change. oh well!

I reckon for your next major change you should shave your head of hair and then let your pubes grow so that you can tie them around your head to look like a replacement set ;-)

Who are you talking about? net or me? cuz i have never shaved my head and grown my pubes so long i could use them as a replacement wig! Now if Net has i would LOVE to see that!

You'd be thinking of me having the proof... which would be off jessika... ;-) Besides, I'm sure we can doctor up some proof...

My hair's naturally just dead straight, no curls at all and it's most of the way down my back now.

I have curly hair and it really pisses me off sometimes.

Was thinking about getting it cut, but it's still bloody cold here, so think I am going to dye it purple instead.

I was thinking electric blue.

My hair's straight, until it gets to about a foot long, then it starts going wavey at the ends (think john frusciante fo the last time I had it long)

There's pictures of me from when i was about 2 or 3 with a blonde 'Beefy' Bothham mullet type thing though. Scary

The lst time I had a perm, I looked like a retarded Q-tip. I don't think that I will ever do that again.
