2 Voting slips plopped through the letterbox this morning, I, for one, didn't even know there was an election on. Is anyone bothered anymore? and what's it for?

It's time for those who were elected on the last occasion to produce a cheapo newsletter saying how their party is the party that represents the community. They prove this by displaying such political might as fixing a couple of street lights that were not working in your area and ensuring that the subway has been cleared of grafitti.

Now, thats a bit harsh.

Only recently did our local authority threaten to (and follow through on most of) close every public toilet on the Wirral.

That sandpaper toilet roll must cost em a fortune... Never mind the "eau de tramp" air fresheners they keep in there.

The ones by the local market have a sign hanging in them saying "this is not a changing room". Damn right. You wouldnt get naked in that place. Your skin would dissolve in the acidic atmosphere...
